Welcome to the Certified Residential Specialists (CRS), Northern California Chapter website; your source for information about CRS classes, Chapter events and important news.

The strength of a Certified Residential Specialist is proven each day through individual dedication to further education, fine tuning of skills and techniques and always striving to provide superior quality service to the real estate customer and client.

Our chapter is sponsoring three real estate courses this year, offering the highest degree of education possible. Our forum of networking/educational seminars afford opportunities to receive input from top quality national speakers as well as grass root networking. This web site is dedicated to enhancing the image of our members and providing each of you more exposure to the public.

This is YOUR chapter and is run through the efforts of volunteers and we need more of you. Now is the time to get involved... you will reap tremendous benefits. The networking opportunities are fabulous. We are striving to make this the best chapter in the nation! Chapter With A Heart Award - 2011

This award is given to Chapters in recognition of their commitment to community service. The Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of REALTORS® presents the "Chapter with a Heart" award to chapters that participate in a humanitarian service project.

Our 2011 Charity is California Association of REALTORS Housing Affordability Fund

In November, 2002, CALIFORNIA REALTORS® unveiled the Housing Affordability Fund, a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to addressing California’s growing housing affordability crisis. In the midst of skyrocketing housing costs, REALTORS® were bearing witness to more working families getting pushed away from the American dream of homeownership. The Housing Affordability Fund was established to provide more options for first time homebuyers’ entry into homeownership.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Housing Affordability Fund plays an active role in addressing the ongoing housing affordability crisis facing our state. The fund will raise and distribute funds and partner with other groups to promote housing and homeownership and address all housing opportunitieslocally and statewide.

Key to California Homeownership:
The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Housing Affordability Fund is a charitable tax-exempt entity under both federal and state law. The entire amount (100%) of your contribution may be deducted as a charitable contribution under both federal and state law. Housing Affordability Fund Success Stories
The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Housing Affordability Fund receives donations from members, non-members, and other institutions that are committed to addressing the housing problem in California. It distributes these resources through Local Associations who have submitted funding requests for local programs that address housing affordability and housing supply directly. In order to have the maximum impact, it seeks to leverage its funds with Local Associations and their housing partners.

Please make your check payable to: C.A.R H.A.F and mail to 2942 Liberty Drive, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Upon receipt, we will forward your donation to the H.A.F. area representative. You will receive an acknowledgement of your donation directly from H.A.F.
